Crissman, who missed the meeting due to illness, said Tuesday she would have voted for that motion, since it only sought information. She said she’s happy the council agreed to move forward on the recommendations. (Rochester Eccentric)

According to the Rochester Eccentric, Councilperson Penny Crissman appears to be willing to vote “Yes” on the motion made at the last city council meeting to instruct the city manager into investigating the cosf of offering the police chief full healthcare benefits if he retires prior to July 1, 2007.

I applaud Councilperson Crissman for apparently being prepared to make an informed and intelligent decision in this matter. I hope that she continues down this path when it is time to vote at the May 14th meeting.
