Today was the first day of my active campaigning. With the assistance of my wife Kathy and two friends, we went door-to-door in several neighborhoods.

It was a pleasure to meet almost everyone who answered the door, and I thank each of you who might be visiting my website for talking with me or for just accepting my printed material. It was a particular pleasure to talk at length with those of you who were interested in doing so. What’s important is not whether we agree or disagree, but rather that each of you becomes informed about all of the new candidates in this years election.

I will be continuing this door-to-door contact in other neighborhoods as the summer progresses. I look forward to meeting each of you.
