The Work Begins Again

at_work.gifThere was a brief lull in campaigning after the primary election, but as Labor Day draws near it is time to begin again the campaign toward the November election.

I again thank all of the supporters who helped me win the primary election. Each vote I received was a manifestation of your support. With continued and new support I am confident I can win in November. But I can’t do it without your support and your donations!

I will be placing lawn signs on or about September 6th, returning to the home of each of you who so generously offered to have a sign placed on their lawn for the primary. I am also looking to place addtional signs, so if you know someone who would be interested in having one, please contact me and I will arrange for a sign to be placed again.

Once again, thank you! November here we come!

Many Thanks to Tom Werth

I could not help but notice that several persons on some of the local political forums have been and are continuing to bash the career of Tom Werth. I think that’s pathetic.

Tom Werth served Rochester for over thirty years. Three decades. Almost three generations. Only a person who had the best interests of the city at heart would have ever stayed in place for that many years. Tom spent over fifteen-hundred Monday nights sitting at city hall and helping conduct the business of the city. Aside from city council meetings, Tom sat on dozens of boards and commissions and attended hundreds of events where he represented the city admirably. Please don’t forget that all of this time was taken from his growing family and donated to the city for very little recompense.

Thank You All for Your Votes, Hard Work and Encouragement

verb.gifI am happy to report that I ended up in fifth place in today’s primary. I was humbled by the results of the primary election. I truly thank each and every person who voted for me or supported me in any other way.

If elected, I promise to do my best and work hard and smart to make Rochester an even better place than it is today. I truly believe that new leadership, building on the the foundation of the past, can catapult Rochester into the next decade as one of the finest small towns in America.

Thanks again to everyone! Please stay in touch with the candidates and the issues and encourage others to vote on November 6th.

Many Thanks to Everyone!
Vote on Tuesday, August 7th

I would like to offer a thank you in advance to all of the people who have been assisting me in this campaign. Some of you donated money, some helped me walk door to door, and some offered kind words and moral support. Each type of support has been equally important and I thank all of you for your time and your efforts as we move into the last weekend before the primary.

Tuesday is Primary Election Day

Please remember that Tuesday, August 7th is primary election day. It’s truly important that we all get out and vote. Regardless of who your candidates of choice are, make certain that you take the time to vote on Tuesday. My hope is that there is a record turn out for an off-year primary election. I am hopeful that will be the case!
